Anonymous Campaign Committee
Fails to Comply with
Campaign Finance Law – Again
May 25, 2006
“Committee Against
Corruption” Again Files
Paperwork Incorrectly
San Jacinto -
The relentless attacks by
anonymous “front”
independent expenditure
committees continued today
with the latest partial
filing of an Independent
Expenditure Form.
The group’s third Ayres
hit piece was filed today,
yet they have not reported
the donors to the
Independent Expenditure on
the Secretary of State’s
website as required by law.
The previous expenditures
were reported several days
after the mailings arrived –
violating the 24 hour
reporting rule.
“These rules are there to
ensure openness and prevent
anonymous attacks,” said
Ayres spokesman Mike
Richman. “This attack
committee is violating these
rules and in doing so is
sending anonymous hit piece
mailings without
accountability.”
“We’re asking the Fair
Political Practices
Commission to look into
these violations,” continued
Richman. “The FPPC has
levied stiff fines in the
past due to similar
violations.”
The Committee also made
their attack pieces look as
if they were sent by Jim
Ayres – another violation of
campaign ethics.
“These pieces are simply
across the line, and we
intend to pursue these
perpetrators through every
avenue provide by the
criminal justice system,”
concluded Richman.

Veterans
Rally, Respond to L.A. Times
Attacks on Jim Ayres
May 12, 2006
San Jacinto -
Today, Inland Valley
veterans rallied to the side
of 21 year Air Force veteran
Jim Ayres, calling the L.A.
Times hit piece story
against Ayres
“irresponsible,”
“misleading,” and “an attack
on veterans.”
“The L.A. Times typically
attacks Republicans and
supports Democrats. So, it’s
no wonder that the newspaper
is attacking Republican Jim
Ayres, and in doing so,
helping Brenda Salas,” said
Robert Sigala, Commander of
American Legion Post 848 and
a veteran of the U.S. Army.
“This story was
misleading and an attack on
veterans everywhere,” added
Larry Patton, U.S. Army
Veteran. “To take and
discredit Jim Ayres’ fine
record of service to this
country, including
Operations Desert Storm and
Desert Shield, is an affront
to any veteran who has
served. This is
reprehensible.”
“Jim Ayres is a decorated
Air Force veteran, and these
attacks on his service are
clearly manufactured by his
opponents for political
gain. He served our country
well, and any attacks on his
service are shameful,” said
Col. Lewis Millett
(Retired), a Medal of Honor
Recipient.
“Jim served with
distinction in Operation
Desert Storm and Desert
Shield,” said Todd Hall,
Chief Master Sergeant in the
United States Air Force. “I
know, I was with him. These
attacks on his service are
dishonoring to all men and
women in uniform. Jim put
his life on the line for our
country. He deserves better
than these baseless attacks
on his record.”
Jim Ayres served 21 years
in the United States Air
Force, where he earned over
a dozen medals and
accommodations, including:
- Air Force
Meritorious Service
Medal
- Air Force
Commendation Medal
w/ one oak leaf
cluster
- Air Force Achievement
Medal
- Air Force Outstanding
Unit Award with Valor device
and two oak leaf clusters
- Air Force Good Conduct
Medal
- Air Reserve Forces
Meritorious Service Medal
with 4 oak leaf clusters
- National Defense
Service Medal
- Southwest Asia Service
Medal with bronze star
- Armed Forces Service
Medal
- Air Force Longevity
Service Ribbon with three
oak leaf clusters
- Armed Forces Reserve
Medal with Hourglass device
- USAF NCO PME Graduate
Ribbon
- Air Force Training
Ribbon
- Kuwait Liberation Medal
Government of Kuwait
A clerical error on a
website had the valor device
misplaced on the Southwest
Asia Service Medal, rather
than the Air Force
Outstanding Unit Award. The
campaign had already
corrected the list, but
former Democratic operative
Brenda Salas used this
clerical error to push the
nasty article against Ayres
in the Los Angeles Times.
“Jim Ayres has earned
over a dozen medals and
accommodations for his
service on behalf of the
United States. Brenda Salas
never served in our military
and never went to war. Her
politically motivated
attacks on Jim Ayres’ record
of service are unfounded and
utterly reprehensible,” said
U.S. Air Force Master
Sergeant Bryan Shifflett.
“Brenda’s whole career
has been about helping
Congressman Joe Baca elect
pro-amnesty Democrats,”
added Ayres spokesman Mike
Richman. “Now, she’s
attacking Jim Ayres’
twenty-one year military
record. That just stinks,
and it’s a typical
Democratic tactic. She
should be ashamed of
herself.”

Jim Ayres Continues
Fundraising Dominance in
65th Assembly District
March
27, 2006
SAN JACINTO – Jim
Ayres continued to stretch
his strong lead in
fundraising during the
current filing period, where
Ayres collected another
$107,000 in contributions
and ended the period with
$346,000 in cash on hand –
more than all his opponents
combined totals and more
then double that of his
nearest competitor.
Ayres’ total funds raised
now top $518,000 – again
more than all his opponent’s
combined totals.
“Jim Ayres is one of the
hardest working candidates
I’ve seen, and his
fundraising totals reflect
that,” said Campaign
Spokesman Tim Clark. “Ayres
is by far the strong
frontrunner in this race,
and he’s consolidating the
Republican donor base and
grass roots activists.”
“The conservative
platform of lower taxes,
less government, and strong
families is a message that I
have identified with since I
become a Republican at age
18,” Ayres commented. “That
same conservative message is
the one that I have been
sharing with people around
the district, and I am
grateful for the outpouring
of support.”
In May of 2003, Jim Ayres
retired with the rank of

Longtime Tax Fighter &
President of Nat’l Tax
Limitation Committee Lew
Uhler Endorses Jim Ayres for
Assembly
March
21, 2006
SAN JACINTO – Jim
Ayres, candidate to replace
term-limited Assemblyman
Russ Bogh in the 65th
District, received a
significant endorsement
today from longtime Taxpayer
Hero Lew Uhler, President of
the National Tax Limitation
Committee, one of
California’s leading
grassroots taxpayer
organizations.
“Jim Ayres will go to
Sacramento to help change
the tax-and-spend mentality
of the State Legislature,”
said Uhler. “Ayres will
fight against high taxes and
taxes disguised as fees. He
will oppose irresponsible
spending by out-of-touch
Liberals.”
“Lew Uhler champions
constitutional limits on the
growth of state and local
taxes and spending. He
worked closely with then
Governor Ronald Reagan on
fiscal policy,” said Jim
Ayres. “The National Tax
Limitation Committee is one
of the watchdog groups in
Sacramento that Liberals
fear.”
In May of 2003, Jim Ayres
retired with the rank of
Master Sergeant after
twenty-one years of service
in the United State’s Air

State Assembly.”
“Senator Denham has a
record of service not only
to the people that he
represents, but to the
people of the United
States,” Jim Ayres said. “I
can’t express how much it
means to me to have a fellow
U.S. Air Force Veteran sign
onto my campaign.”
In May of 2003, Jim Ayres
retired with the rank of
Master Sergeant after
twenty-one years of service
in the United State’s Air
Force – service that
included tours of duty in
both Operation Desert
Shield/Storm and Operation
Decisive Endeavor, providing
support for the no-fly zone
over Bosnia.
A member of the San
Jacinto City Council since
1999, Jim Ayres is also
immediate past Chairman of

million dollar operational
budget. Jim is also a

Jim Ayres Kicks-Off
Jessica's Law Signature
Campaign in Riverside County
January 13, 2006
BEAUMONT – On Friday,
San Jacinto City Councilman
and Candidate for the 65th
Assembly District, Jim
Ayres, pledged his time and
$10,000 in campaign fund to
help qualify Jessica’s Law
for the November 2006
ballot.
If passed, this
initiative would create the
toughest and most
comprehensive sex offender
punishment and control act
in the nation by prohibiting
sex offenders from living
within 2,000 feet of any
school or park and use GPS
satellite technology to
track sex offenders for
life.
Jim Ayres joined
Assemblyman Russ Bogh,
Riverside County Supervisor
Marion Ashley, local elected
officials and law
enforcement on Friday at
Palm Elementary School in
Beaumont, asking parents to
join them in signing the
Jessica’s Law petitions.
Palm Elementary School is
dangerously neighbored by
four sex offenders living
within 2,000 feet of its
gates.
“I watched as
kindergarteners who were
dismissed from school walked
through a neighborhood
blanketed with sex
offenders,” said Ayers.
“Unfortunately, the Inland
Empire has become one of
many dumping grounds around
the state for these
criminals and Jessica’s law
will help parents, like
myself, feel more secure
about their kids playing in
their own neighborhoods.”
Ayres announced at the
petition signing that he
will donate $10,000 to the
Jessica’s Law campaign, and
that he will urge voters
throughout the Inland Empire
to support this effort.
“I hope that the $10,000
that I donate to the
Jessica’s Law campaign will
go a long way toward getting
this measure on the ballot,”
said Ayres.
Ayres, currently serving
on the Council for the city
of San Jacinto, has
solidified his position as
frontrunner in the campaign
to succeed term limited
State Assemblyman Russ Bogh.
In 2003, Ayres retired after
a 21-year career in the
United States Air Force.

Ayres seeks border reform
STATE
CONTROL: Proposed initiative
would create state agency to
police Mexico border.
By CHARLES HAND/The
Valley Chronicle Friday,
October 07, 2005
If the federal government
cannot keep people from
illegally crossing into
California from Mexico, then
the state should form a
police agency to do the job,
says San Jacinto city
councilman and Assembly
candidate Jim Ayres.
Ayres has thrown his
support behind a proposed
initiative sponsored by
Assemblyman Ray Haynes to
form a state agency to
patrol the border and get
tough on not only those who
cross illegally, but
business operators who hire
them.
Not only has Ayres thrown
his political support to the
initiative, but his
financial support. He gave
the campaign committee
$10,000 from his election
treasury.
”Jim has made a
significant effort to
further the initiative,“
Haynes said of his decision
to make Ayres an honorary
co-chairman.
Haynes, who will be
forced from office by the
term limits law next year,
also endorsed Ayres'
candidacy for the Assembly.
Ayres is running for the
65th District seat being
vacated by Assemblyman Russ
Bogh.
”He has been a true
leader in a variety of ways
throughout the area,“ Haynes
said of Ayres. ”I can't say
enough good things about
him.“
Robin Lowe, a member of
the City Council in
neighboring Hemet and a
candidate for the same
Assembly seat Ayres is
running for, said she sees
issues with the border
police initiative. ”The
concept has merit,“ she
said. ”I just want to know
what prison we're going to
put them in,“ referring to
those arrested by the border
police.
California has no reason
to expect help from the
federal government if the
state starts arresting,
processing, imprisoning, and
deporting a large number of
illegal immigrants, she
said.
Ayres said the idea of
forming a state border
police force arose out of
the Minutemen, a group of
civilians who have set up a
series of extra-governmental
watch posts along the border
between Arizona and Mexico.
The Minutemen observe and
report to the U.S. Border
Patrol if they see illegal
activity, Ayres said.
Some of those patrolling
the border have been
reported to carry firearms
as well.
At issue, said Ayres, is
the cost to California of
educating, providing health
care for, and processing
through the judicial system
those who come here
illegally.
He said the estimated
$300 million a year it will
cost to set up and operate
California border police
will be offset by $4 billion
in savings on government
services.
Lowe said she suspects
the estimate of the savings
is high and the estimates on
the cost of the border
police are low.
Not only will stemming
the flow of illegal
immigrants reduce demand for
government services, but
reduce competition for jobs
that those here legally,
whether native born or
legally immigrated, could
get, Ayres said.
”It would take away the
competition,“ he said.
Besides, said Ayres, ”In
10 years, one in five people
in our population will be
from somewhere else“ in the
absence of controls in
illegal immigration.
He said there are 3
million people illegally in
California ”and thousands
more crossing our borders or
coastline every month.“
Despite his support of
the initiative, Ayres said
he is not opposed to
immigration. ”You can come
here, but you've got to go
through the process,“ he
said.
Ayres said he sees little
likelihood of the federal
government increasing its
enforcement, leaving the job
to the states. ”Clearly
enforcement of this issue is
inadequate,“ he said. ”It
needs to be addressed
through the initiative.“
The initiative committee
needs 600,000 signatures to
qualify for the June 2006
ballot. Haynes said this
week he is not certain how
many signatures have been
collected.

Ayres named Co-Chairman of
California Border Patrol
Initiative
September 20, 2005
Cements status in 65th
district as the
conservative’s choice by
taking the lead in combating
illegal immigration.
San Jacinto - San
Jacinto City Councilman and
candidate for the 65th
Assembly district Jim Ayres
today was named as a
“Co-Chairman” of the CA
Border Patrol Initiative.
With illegal immigration
becoming an increasingly
important issue, Ayres is
joining with Assemblyman Ray
Haynes to allow the state to
take a proactive role in
fixing the crisis of illegal
immigration in California.
“Californians have been
ill served by the current
enforcement of immigration
laws in this state,” said
Ayres. “Not only does
illegal immigration
compromise national
security, it compromises
California’s economic
security as well. The
current shortfall in state
government can be directly
attributed to the billions
of dollars paid out to
support non-citizens and
liberal programs that cater
to them,” said Ayres.
Ayres believes that the
Border patrol initiative is
igniting a groundswell of
support on the local level
to solve this problem that
government has refused to
address. “The people are
speaking and demand that
this problem be fixed. They
will no longer tolerate
politicians who allow these
problems to fester and do
not take action. I am proud
to be a vehicle for this
change and take the fight
for our conservative values
to Sacramento.”
Ayres, currently serving
on Council for the city of
San Jacinto and Chairman of
the Riverside Transit
Agency, has solidified his
position as the frontrunner
in the campaign to succeed
term limited state
Assemblyman Russ Bogh. In
2003, Ayres retired after a
21 year career in the United
States Air Force.

Ayres Takes a Stand
Against Gay Marriage
September 13, 2005
Asks Governor to veto
bill by San Francisco
Assemblyman Mark Leno that
would legalize gay marriage
in California.
San Jacinto - San
Jacinto City Councilman and
candidate for the 65th
Assembly District Jim Ayres
today called upon Governor
Schwarzenegger to veto
Assembly Bill 849 which
would legalize gay marriage
in the state of California.
“The voters of California
passed Proposition 22
overwhelmingly that declared
marriage is between a man
and a woman,” stated Ayres.
“The continued disregard for
the will of the people of
California by the failed
liberal majority must come
to an end,” Ayres continued.
Ayres believes that this
legislation shows how out of
touch the Democrats in the
State Assembly have become.
“While there are many
problems in California,
Assembly Democrats have now
identified traditional
values as one of the
problems by making this bill
a priority,” said Ayres. “It
is long past time to have a
leadership in the Assembly
that addresses the real
problems facing us like
creating good paying jobs
for hard working families,
lowering taxes and tackling
the crisis of illegal
immigration.”
Ayres, currently serving
on Council for the city of
San Jacinto and Chairman of
the Riverside Transit
Agency, has solidified his
position as the frontrunner
in the campaign to succeed
term limited State
Assemblyman Russ Bogh. In
2003, Ayres retired after a

Ayres Calls on Governor to
Veto Driver’s Licenses for
Illegal Immigrants
September 10, 2005
San Jacinto- San Jacinto
City Councilman and
candidate for the 65th
Assembly district Jim Ayres
today reacted to the passage
of Senate Bill 60, the bill
that would give driver’s
licenses to illegal
immigrants by asking
Governor Schwarzenegger to
veto this legislation.
“Once again, we see the
extreme liberals in
Sacramento pushing a policy
that will encourage more
illegal immigration not
less,” said Ayres. “I am
asking Governor
Schwarzenegger to continue
defending hard working
taxpayers and securing our
borders to protect our
national security by vetoing
this throwback to the Gray
Davis era.”
Ayres also pledged his
support for Assemblyman Ray
Haynes’ initiative to create
a California state border
patrol as well as for the
Governor declaring a state
of emergency to push the
federal government to
protect America’s borders.
“After 9-11, it is
critical that we protect
this border that terrorists
could use to gain entry to
this country,” continued
Ayres. “Having spent over 20
years in service to this
nation in the United States
Air Force, I understand that
government’s main
responsibility is protecting
its citizens and preventing
another attack on American
soil. As a State
Assemblyman, I will take
that responsibility to my
fellow citizens seriously by
not sacrificing our border
security to political
correctness.”
Ayres, currently serving
on Council for the city of
San Jacinto and Chairman of
the Riverside Transit
Agency, has solidified his
position as the frontrunner
in the campaign to succeed
term limited state
Assemblyman Russ Bogh. In
2003, Ayres retired after a
21 year career in the United
States Air Force.

Assemblyman Ray Haynes
Endorses Jim Ayres
September 8, 2005
Conservative leader backs
San Jacinto councilman and
AD 65 frontrunner Jim Ayres
in his race to replace
term-limited Assemblyman
Russ Bogh.
San Jacinto - San
Jacinto City Councilman and
candidate for the 65th
Assembly district Jim Ayres
today received the
endorsement of current
Assemblyman and former State
Senator Ray Haynes in his
campaign to win the 65th
Assembly district. Haynes is
known as a long-time Inland
Empire and conservative
movement leader and brings
added strength and momentum
to Ayres’ campaign to win
this heavily Republican
district in next years June
primary.
“I am honored to have
Ray’s support and will fight
to uphold our conservative
values to protect the hard
working families of the
Inland Empire whose values
are under attack every day
in Sacramento by liberal
extremists,” said Ayres.
“Having the support of Ray
Haynes is an important
indicator to conservatives
of the values I will fight
for in Sacramento to bring
hope to California.”
Ayres consultant Carl
Fogliani stressed that
Assemblyman Haynes’
endorsement gives the Ayres
campaign growing momentum
and credibility with
conservative activists who
will help decide the winner
in this conservative
district. “After leading the
field in the June 30th
campaign finance reports,
Jim Ayres is now building a
formidable team of local and
conservative leaders led by
Assemblyman Haynes to move
this campaign to the next
level,” said Fogliani. “This
defines Jim Ayres as the
conservative in this race.”
Ayres, currently serving
on Council for the city of
San Jacinto and Chairman of
the Riverside Transit
Agency, has solidified his
position as the frontrunner
in the campaign to succeed
term limited state
Assemblyman Russ Bogh. In

million dollars in reporting
period. Will report over
$240,000 in cash on hand.
San Jacinto - San
Jacinto City Councilman and
candidate for the 65th
Assembly District Jim Ayres
will report that his
fundraising totals will
exceed all expectations by
raising over $250,000 and
banking over $240,000 in the
reporting period that ended
on June 30th. The reports
will also show that Jim
Ayres did not need personal
loans to cover a weak
fundraising report.
“I am humbled that so
many people are supporting
my campaign to fight for
conservative values for my
fellow citizens here in the
Inland Empire. I look
forward to continuing to
take this campaign to the
voters of the district so
they can become a part of
this effort to cut wasteful
spending, lower taxes and
improve our ailing
transportation system,” said
Ayres.
“Jim Ayres once again has
proven himself as the
frontrunner to replace
Assemblyman Russ Bogh,” said
Ayres’ consultant Carl
Fogliani. “While other
campaigns are having trouble
raising money, Jim has shown
the commitment necessary to
raise a quarter of a million
dollars early to win this
district. With his
background on transportation
issues, a stellar military
record and the ability to
deliver his message to the
voters of the 65th Assembly

at the head of the pack in
the 65th.”

compete against in a
Republican primary. The
Ayres campaign has the
message, organization and
the financial firepower to
continue to pace the
Republican field in this
district,” said Fogliani.

Ayres Slams
Assembly Democrats on Driver’s
Licenses
June 28, 2005
Calls Assembly Transportation
Committee’s vote to give licenses to
those in the country illegally a
“dangerous reward to break the law.”
San Jacinto- San Jacinto
City Councilman and candidate for
the 65th Assembly district Jim Ayres
today reacted to the Assembly
Transportation Committee’s approval
of Senate Bill 60, a bill that would
give driver’s licenses to those in
this country illegally.
“Once again, the extremist
liberals running the Assembly have
put politics ahead of safeguarding
our borders,” said Ayres. “By
extending a dangerous reward to
break the law, those Assembly
democrats who voted for this bill
have proven they have no regard for
the rule of law or the safety of
their fellow citizens.”
Ayres believes the people of
California have spoken loud and
clear on the issue of stopping
illegal immigration. “The last time
they pushed this issue and refused
to listen to the will of the people
it cost the liberals the Governor’s
office,” said Ayres. “My campaign
will be highlighting my Republican
vision for a safer California border
and I am looking forward to the
debate.”
Ayres, currently serving on
Council for the city of San Jacinto
and Chairman of the Riverside
Transit Agency, has solidified his
position as the frontrunner in the
campaign to succeed term limited
state Assemblyman Russ Bogh. In
2003, Ayres retired after a 21 year
career in the United States Air
Force that included service in
Operation Desert Shield/Desert
Storm. |

Gun Owners of
California Endorse Jim Ayres
June 20, 2005
Candidate’s strong stand on
second amendment leads to
endorsement.
San Jacinto-Jim Ayres’
campaign received a huge boost as
the California Gun Owners
Association weighed in to endorse
his campaign to replace term-limited
Assemblyman Russ Bogh in the
strongly Republican 65th district.
With a strongly Republican seat
and conservative voters in a
district with a large rural
population, Ayres adds a key piece
of the puzzle in locking down this
critical element of the Republican
Party.
“Your strong support of the
Second Amendment and all the hard
work that you have already put into
your campaign is a testament to your
dedication to do what needs to be
done,” said Sam Paredes, Executive
Director of the California Gun
Owners Association.
“I thank the California Gun
Owners for their support,” said
Ayres. “I am looking forward to
serving in Sacramento to fight on
behalf of the many law abiding men
and women who exercise their
freedoms under the second amendment
that has been under attack by
extremist liberals in this state for
far too long.”
Ayres, currently serving on
Council for the city of San Jacinto
and Chairman of the Riverside
Transit Agency, continues to
solidify his position as the
frontrunner in the campaign to
succeed Assemblyman Bogh. In 2003,
Ayres retired after a 21 year career
in the United States Air Force. |

Ayres Blasts
Assembly Democrats on Gay Marriage
May 27, 2005
Calls Appropriations Committee’s
passing of Assembly Bill 19 “A slap
in the face to California voters.”
San Jacinto-San Jacinto
City Councilman and candidate for
the 65th Assembly district Jim Ayres
today reacted to the Assembly
Appropriations Committee’s passing
of Assembly Bill 19 (Leno, D-San
Francisco), a bill that legalizes
gay marriage.
“Once again, the liberals in the
Legislature refuse to work to solve
the problems of California and have
chosen to overturn the will of
voters expressed in Proposition 22,”
said Ayres. “Rather than work on
bringing the out of control
bureaucracy under control or
spending their time trying to help
the Governor fix the state budget
they would rather fight to attack
California families and undermine
mainstream values. This is a slap in
the face to the voters of
California.”
Ayres pledged to be a leader in
the fight against the extremist
liberals running the Assembly if
elected in 2006. “I will stand up
and a leader in the fight against
the extremist liberals and their San
Francisco-Fits-All values,” said
Ayres. “We must restore
accountability to the Assembly by
stopping these destructive social
experiments.”
Ayres, currently serving on
Council for the city of San Jacinto
and Chairman of the Riverside
Transit Agency, has solidified his
position as the frontrunner in the
campaign to succeed term limited
state Assemblyman Russ Bogh. In
2003, Ayres retired after a 21 year
career in the United States Air
Force. |

Applauds Governor’s Stance Against
Viagra for Sex Offenders
May 31, 2005
Supports Governor’s push to stop
taxpayer funded erectile dysfunction
drugs from going to convicted sex
offenders.
San Jacinto- San Jacinto
City Councilman and candidate for
the 65th Assembly district Jim Ayres
today reacted to Governor
Schwarzenegger’s directive to state
agencies to stop providing convicted
sex offenders with taxpayer-funded
drugs that treat erectile
dysfunction.
“Keeping our citizens safe and
making sure tax dollars are not
wasted on insane liberal policies
like this are our elected official’s
responsibility. I commend the
Governor for ending this dangerous
practice and will fully support his
efforts to rein in the wasteful
spending such as this,” said Ayres.
“State government needs to get it’s
priorities in order and stop these
egregious examples of taxpayer abuse
that not only waste dollars but
endanger our citizens. I want to go
to Sacramento to help Governor
Schwarzenegger take on this out of
control state government.”
Ayres, currently serving on
Council for the city of San Jacinto
and Chairman of the Riverside
Transit Agency, has solidified his
position as the frontrunner in the
campaign to succeed term limited
state Assemblyman Russ Bogh. In
2003, Ayres retired after a 21 year

Momentum Grows in 65th Assembly
District
April 28, 2005
Local Elected Officials continue
to endorse front-running Republican
candidate.
San Jacinto-Jim Ayres
continues to build momentum through
the endorsements of local elected
officials this week. This week the
Ayres campaign announced the
endorsements of Beaumont Councilman
Brian Deforge, Mt. San Jacinto
School Board Trustee Ann Motte, San
Jacinto Unified School Boardmember
John Schouten and Valley Wide Board
of Directors President Nick Schouten.
“Serving in the state Assembly is
about being able to work with and
deliver for your community in
Sacramento. I am gratified to see
that these local officials have the
confidence in my ability to deliver
and hit the ground running for the
Inland Empire. We have many issues
that I am fighting for from
transportation funding for
Interstate 79 to relieve traffic
congestion that robs us of time with
our families to taking on the
special interests and career
bureaucrats in Sacramento and I am
looking forward to working with our
local officials to help deliver for
the people we represent,” said
Ayres.
Ayres, currently serving on Council

“Jim Ayres continues to build
momentum and support with each
passing week,” said Ayres Campaign
Consultant Carl Fogliani. “His
understanding of the complex issues
facing the 65th district and his
ability to build the organization
necessary to win make him a
formidable candidate in AD 65.”
