I’m Senator Jeff Denham. This recall has been launched against me by the Sacramento special interests for one reason only – I support a Balanced Budget, while they support huge budget deficits ballooned by fat bureaucrat salaries and lavish pensions. What’s even worse, while feathering their own nests, they want to eliminate the Teachers’ Tax Credit, which would raise taxes on classroom teachers.

Now, these same politicians are holding our children and our seniors hostage, by cutting off funding for our schools, nursing homes and hospitals during the budget crisis that they created.

I introduced the “Denham Amendment” to stop them from cutting off funding for these vital services, but these same politicians refused to vote for it.

Instead, the recall proponents want to spend huge sums of taxpayers’ money – your money – to hold another special election.

As your Senator, I have been proud to fight for you in Sacramento. The Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association, the California Teachers Association and the California State Sheriffs Association have all supported me.
